"Anti-work?" No, an end to abuse at work. People confuse work and suffering, as if not wanting to be abused is greedy. No one respects anyone they can abuse, at work or outside of it.

@coryCuc Full-time workers for many companies qualify for food stamps and other government benefits. Of course these function as a subsidy. Check how many companies spend more on lobbying than they pay in taxes.

@coryCuc There are no jobs with literally no skills.

@coryCuc Of course it is. You think you can flip burgers as a job, where you must meet production targets every day? You think operating a cash register during a huge sale is something you can pick up and do tomorrow? Pushing a broom in a space large enough and doing it quickly and well certainly is a skill. Plus each job requires appropriate communication with coworkers, customers, bosses. Those were once jobs that paid the tuition at major state universities.

@coryCuc Wow. We know who hates their job. Or their own business. Or pretty much most of the human race. "The only people on government assistance are the people who WANT to be." 🤣🤣🤣 At this point, most of the people living in America are the ones who don't have choices.

@coryCuc Who is more "skilled," based on what many people, or very few people, can be taught to do well? Simone Biles or Kim Kardashian? Alexandra Dovgan or Hunter Biden? Who makes more money?
1
@coryCuc I'm not. I'm calling into question the notion that the level of wage/salary/compensation has any direct relationship with the rarity of a skill (rarity coupled, of course, with its demand in the market), much less its value.

@coryCuc Sure, put your head in the sand. That may have been how money used to be earned, generally. It has no bearing on the current landscape.
