  3. I know a conservative Republican who has those Suri-type devices in her home, gave DNA for a legacy test, got the COVID vaccine after contracting COVID. I don't get it. I'm far left, but Euro left. Way different animal. P. S. I have done none of the above and never will.

  4. @egatycasi  The fact that you are voluntarily appearing out in public means you have relinquished your privacy. If you discard something in the garbage, you have no expectation of privacy in the thing you've discarded. No one can take DNA from your person without your consent or a warrant (or at least not yet), and if they don't have DNA in a data base, then finding it on a discarded coffee cup means nothing. People throw stuff in my garbage all the time.

  5. @egatycasi  Well, in my state, an indictment for certain serious felonies means you have to provide your DNA to the state, and misuse of the sample is a felony as well. Otherwise, it's by consent or warrant. It's not something they can collect just because you went outside.
