@sidneybales9062 First of all Kyrsten campaigned on a substantial increase in the minimum wage, and a more rapid one than proposed in this bill. If circumstances have changed, she owes her constituents an explanation. Second, Krystal does have an economics degree from Virginia, and she is a CPA. What about Sinema? I don't know, it's a sincere question. She is a lawyer and she did teach business law. She might be more astute than her demeanor suggests. Evidence?

@sidneybales9062 There are strategies in place in literally every other developed nation that ensure a better wage (based on PPP) and comprehensive, universal benefits. It is time to examine what is possible here in an honest way. Working full-time over a summer used to pay for one year of state school tuition. Two or three roommates working full-time for minimum wage could afford an apartment anywhere -- San Francisco and Manhattan included -- and try their luck at advancing their careers where they found the most opportunities for their talents. What happened? We can't go on like this.
