  2. No we're not. I was in a formerly communist country this fall, with profoundly anti-communist people, who were close relatives of known dissidents. Even they had no problem stating there were some good things about communism. In their country, the communists solved homelessness. Yes, solved. What are we getting in return? Actually, that's what not being propagandized means. They had no problem saying this. They didn't look over their shoulders first, or fear what reaction I might have. In fact, I have another example: they were vaccinated, with Pfizer, and instead of pushing it, they matter-of-factly stated the vaccines have been a big disappointment, and that they are holding off on boosters. Imagine what it must be like to have internalized free speech! Sweet, huh? I remember those days.
