Can you be serious? What ISN'T engineered to create behavioral addictions? Why do American kids have more obesity, less activity, lower math and reading skills, more behavioral issues including addictions, not to mention the real bad stuff, like abuse and crime and drugs, than the kids in every other developed country? And all of it is monetized. Someone is making a fortune. Robbie says just say no. Well how's that working out for you?

Of course, there's another possibility. Americans are just the worst people. Sorry, I forgot that could be it. /s

I know. A big mac and a big gulp, and expecting everyone else to pay for those decisions, is definitely the way to go. As a matter of principle, shouldn't a public high school education prepare you for a job that is sufficient to meet the basic necessities? Nothing fancy, just the basics? All right then, when you start going to college on your own dime, what would be the reason to have to dance to someone else's tune yet again? When do you get to study what truly interests you? In any case, Business has been the most common degree in the US for at least 30 years, with Nursing coming in right behind. Most of college is vocational now, for most people. Do you see young people with those "worthwhile degrees" thriving? Why are they living at home at 25?
