  2. So nicely said. Just watched a video of Carl Sagan testifying before Congress in 1985. It was ideology-free and immensely polite. He just told the Senators about the science. He briefly acknowledged that certain drastic measures would obviously be economically devastating, then talked about other things that could be done. The comments were about how people listened without interrupting. Wild, huh? :/
