  2. All the people attacking Brie don't have the attention span to follow her arguments. Or the memory span to realize this is one retribution after another, depending on who's on top at the moment. I say this even though I agree more with Robby. He's clearly not calling for anyone to be fired. He is calling for a single standard of review. I think he's sincere and correct.

  6. ​@skontheroad What ii shows is that they are insensitive to student concerns and incapable of articulating First Amendment principles and zealously defending them --- probably because they don't really care about either. Their job is to fund raise. Liz Magill was a clerk for Justice Ginsberg. No, RBG didn't accidentally hire an antisemite for the most sensitive job on her staff.

  12.  @carl13579  Well, why not point it out and make it known? At this point, wouldn't that be sufficient "punishment?" And tell me, why was it ignored when first uncovered? He was a professor then, and he retaliated by making sure the person who found it and proved it could never get tenure at a much, much less prestigious school. Harvard is a funny place. The top donor to its Kennedy School of Government was none other than Leslie Wexner. You remember him: Jeffrey Epstein was his protégé. Wexner's money was still accepted all these years, no quiet untangling. He withdrew support only about a month ago, because of the pro-Palestinian stand of some student groups. Apparently he found ethics suddenly.

  14. Why do you read her as "taking sides?" Do you think the university presidents were "taking sides" for Hamas? If someone makes an unfounded accusation against you, then there there is a flurry of sicial media mob activity (even if it's just in your little corner of the world) demanding that you be canceled, and someone else digs up something you did thirty years ago -- how does that strike you? I say that even though I agree more with Ribby. But you all can't see Brie's point? REALLY? So the back and forth, junior high taking sides fools you still.
