  1. There is no problem: the remedy for "bad" protected speech is MORE speech. You cannot censor protected speech. Clearer than they're making it.

  5. This is not the law. The government's use of third parties to censor First Amendment protected speech is illegal. They cannot use someone else as a cat's paw to censor speech they disapprove of, which they cannot suppress themselves. The government itself is perfectly welcome to broadcast its own views. But instead of warning people about social media manipulation and how dangerous it is, the government has jumped right in as social media's most enthusiastic user. They've used this media, like all media, to manipulate. That's how we "knew" Saddam Hussein was involved in 9/11, and Hunter's laptop was a Russian fake, and a drug used in many countries was really horse paste. Why don't they get serious?

  6. They cannot be banned at the government's behest as long as they are protected speech. Things like true threats and inciting riots are not protected. Suggesting the COVID vaccines have genuine risks is protected. Opining that Hunter's laptop is authentic is protected, just like suggesting that Saddan Hussein was not involved in 9/11.

  8. No it's not. All those intelligence operatives who said Hunter's laptop is a Russian plant are free to say it, and their view should be broadcast, even though it turned out to be baseless. It was an opinion on a national matter. What they can no longer do is force platforms to censor the story that the laptop was real. That's the difference.
