Just riddle me this: since their collapse is inevitable, why harm innocent victims with sanctions? Socialism always fails, and in the meantime the apparatchiks always get fed while our natural allies go hungry, because of our sanctions, which are in principle unnecessary. Or isn't that the drill?.
