  1. Katie, I want to express my appreciation for this discussion. After seeing what other, ostensibly reasonable, people on social media are doing with this issue, I am absolutely stunned -- spreading some of the most hateful ad hominem and innuendo I have ever seen, not to mention outright misinformation -- and we are POST election. (I thought now was the time to make demands.) I am deeply grateful for every person on this panel, regardless of viewpoint, because they presented a reasoned debate. I didn't know it was this hard to do. More worried than ever. :/ "Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone . . . "

  7. After seeing what others are doing on social media, I am grateful for each and every one of these reasoned voices, no matter how wrong they may be. Dore is being subjected to unbelievably vicious character assassination (not too strong a word), and now Justin Jackson is being mobbed on twitter. This is the only show I've seen so far that presented arguments, not ad hominem. After what happened to Glenn Greenwald, and now the suppression I've seen of anyone who dares to demand a vote on M4A, I fear much bigger issues are at stake. Only police killings, executions, and war have shaken me more.
