So, Olbermann wants to "detain militarily" people on our soil who point out facts he doesn't like to think about? Imagine, he gets paid to say this. This used to be street-corner ranting.

@robertjohnson1681 Because the MSM repeated it a whole bunch of times.
3
@williamdawes7866 "context" "amplified" "puppet" You all sound like you're reading from a script. You forgot "whataboutism" "treason" and "traitor."
3
@williamdawes7866 Tucker isn't an investigative journo anyway. I would never take his world. Romney, The View, and so forth, MSM in general, have lost their minds, and the US is undermining Zelensky. Establishment types need and want this war to continue for a while, to exploit the crisis.
3
@williamdawes7866 The only politician I support is J-L Melenchon in France. I voted for LaRiva to register my support for the release of Leonard Peltier. Peltier has one of the finest lawyers representing him, a Navy man who became a federal judge and then resigned in protest of mandatory minimum sentencing for relatively trivial offenses. Now he practices civil rights and civil liberties law in Tennessee. A long interview of his, by Chris Hedges, didn't survive the RT ban, but Democracy Now still has one, though shorter. Was this too much for you to read, or process? I'm sorry.

@Missconduct044 What was explained? And it's not "the" biolab. I saw where the US Embassy in Ukraine website described six such labs, which received Department of Defense funding. Did you listen to the MSNBC show that claims Tucker lied, then misrepresented the text that Tucker supposedly lied about? Did you look up any original sources mentioned by any of these broadcasters? Or haven't you learned yet?
3
@bsymissy What is your source for that, i.e., that there are a "1000" such labs in the US? That is an extremely vague assertion. Why was the strain of anthrax used in the October 2001 attacks so easily identified, and traced to a particular lab?
2
@judsontims570 I would never believe Fox, or any network. Seek out primary sources and journalists who do the real investigative work.
2
@viaceslavmikhailovich9825 Greenwald has been best on this, others have contributed as well. I agree not to trust the mass media editorials. I look at the original sources whenever I can.
2
@williamdawes7866 Everyone watches CNN and MSNBC sometimes, in order to see what they are presenting. Is there another way to know? I consult the NYTimes every day.
2
@williamdawes7866 How would you know what Kremlin talking points are? Their media is now banned in the "Free West" (TM).
2
@parisg3758 Well, do we know what's in them now? Do we know these pathogens are secure? A calm, nonpartisan, dispassionate analysis of two clips without commentary, Nuland, followed by Gabbard, shows you exactly what needs to happen. But we live in a virtual world now, where screaming "Putin PUPPET!!" prevents the release of microbes.
2
@peaceandlove2617 And you've lost your mind. What is it? Drugs? I don't get it anymore.
2
@barbaraann6229 Which show? Do you have the date or search term? I'm open to hearing it. Let's see whether you can supply it.

Note that neither the State Department nor Victoria Nuland issued a clarification. Amazing, really.
1
@travisjohnson1225 Look up her father. That's why she was invited.
1
@odinata Why hasn't Victoria Nuland issued a clarification? Lifelong foreign policymaker, she must have done it tons of times.
1
@johnn2920 Carlson never said bioweapons either. But is the difference real or primarily semantic?
1
Wow, Nuland handed them a job.
1
Oh, I can think of worse: Pay them for being wrong. Make them rich.
1
@bsymissy Exactly why did we go to war with Iraq?
1
@williamdawes7866 I suggest you watch today's The Hill Rising, and find out what the whole world knows.
1
@Green Grugach Reading Sally Rooney over the past couple of years kept me sane.
1
@peaceandlove2617 I assume all Americans of either party applaud a war they start or have a chance to enter or gain from. I think they want to see this one prolonged.
1
@jeffengland2791 Briahna Joy Gray brings much stronger thinkers on her program.
1
@williamdawes7866 If Victoria Nuland told the truth about the "danger Russia will gain control" of these microbes, in our Department of Defense-funded biolabs, why are WE not demanding inspectors and threatening war, like we did in Iraq? Based on our actions in Iraq, it would stand to reason that we should be the party pushing for inspections.
1
@parisg3758 Le Pen is monstrous. She is SO obviously stupid that I simply cannot understand her appeal. Nepotism, atavism. That's all. The few things she does almost right (giving a voice to a handful of legitimate concerns), she then proceeds to distort grotesquely. Why does anyone believe her election could improve their lives? Many others clearly could do more, yet are trusted less (!) than she.
1
@adamh4594 Yes, Maddow used this defense as well. You are entirely correct. They themselves claim always to be entertainers offering opinions. If something matters, I go to the primary sources they rely on. It's always enlightening and surprising.
1
@viaceslavmikhailovich9825 Note that neither the State Department nor Victoria Nuland has issued a clarification. Note what has happened instead.
1
@YamiFlyZX Not clear what you mean. MSM says Russia invaded Ukraine because Putin is mad and evil.
1
@YamiFlyZX I see. That's funny. The Internecine War is how they all make money. We are in a time when harm makes money. It was a hoot to see Whoopie double down on censorship, though, after her time out. And it's true these accusations of treason by serious people are relatively new. There were a few times during 2020 that I thought Tucker should be fired on the spot, but I didn't catch his usual nonsense here. The Hill Rising had a good segment yesterday with Glenn Greenwald. I haven't seen any followup yet, I was planning to go watch them. Aaron Mate reports that his sources in Russia are telling him there is growing anti-war sentiment there. We are fomenting xenophobia instead, hardly a formula for peace. It's so odd. If Victoria Nuland told the truth about the "danger Russia will gain control" of these microbes, in our Department of Defense-funded biolabs, why are WE not demanding inspectors and threatening war, like we did in Iraq? Based on our actions in Iraq, it would stand to reason that we should be the party pushing for inspections. Look what we're hearing instead.
