  29. Why do you believe this report? The demonstrations in Western countries are not predominately anti-semitic. They are in favor of a cease-fire and an end to the seige of Gaza. Having said that, I would never go to one, because I know anti-Semites are present, and are using legitimate concern for Palestinian children, and for preserving the Geneva Conventions, as a cover. I would never want to be present under those circumstances. I can understand making a different choice in this instance.

  30. They aren't describing any facts. There is no evidence the demonstrations in the West support Hamas or any terrorists, or that they are full of anti-semites. Are anti-semites infiltrating the demonstrations and using them as a cover? Most likely, and that's why I would not join. The demonstrations themselves and most of the people in them are, however, for an end to the seige and for a general cease fire. There are Jewish people joining them. Don't you ever watch Democracy Now? Amy Goodman's father was a rabbi, I believe. Watch it now, to hear what actual Israelis are saying.

  32. I would never go to any such demonstration because I am not convinced that there are no anti-Semites present. But the cause of maintaining the rules of war under the Geneva Conventions in every conflict, no matter how it started, is worth fighting for. That includes water to Gaza, not striking hospitals in Gaza, etc. There is zero evidence that most of those demonstrating in WESTERN cities are anti-Semites. Whether the anti-Semites who are there are taking advantage of the protests, and using the honest protestors as a cover, is a different matter. They are, or at least they are trying to. That's why I wouldn't go.
