1. We do not know for certain who did this. 2. We are being asked to believe the most illogical explanation, as a loyalty oath/litmus test. Not good. Not good at all. Sums it up. :/

@KMLR2012 He characterized your willingness to believe MSM perfectly. He stated that we do not know who sabotaged the pipeline, AND explained why the instantly available Official Story we are being fed is illogical, and unsupported by empirical evidence. And that it seems to be one more instance of a well-worn meme. If we don't know who did this, why would we believe it was Russia?

@Firesoullive Oh please. A contract? They haven't had assets seized and unprecedented sanctions? They needed the revenue from Nord Stream to buy weapons around the world.

@davemartino5997 I wouldn't want to bet, I need every dollar left to me, lol, but that is more likely than not at this point.

@TheJazzDane You don't know who sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline any more than any talking head does. Could it be Russia? Not impossible, strictly speaking. What Greenwald says is logical. It may not turn out to be a fact. But logic itself is never wrong. Follow the logic. It's always the right place to start. Logic is non-journalistic? Ironically true. Logic and meme production don't mesh well.

@TheJazzDane So Russia needs money for its war, it is under massive sanctions, it uses Nord Stream as leverage to coerce Europe, AND it bombed that very pipeline. Okay. It's not impossible. Maybe al Qaeda did it. It's only slightly less possible than Russia. Maybe Serbia did it, maybe Syria did it. Maybe it's a natural occurrence after all. I mean, none of these are strictly impossible. You can find lots of explanations even less possible than the story that Russia did it.

@KMLR2012 Wow. Notice also, we never know who is responsible. It could be Fox, it could be someone else's algorithm. It could even be a human, working on behalf of someone in the sequence.

@KMLR2012 Oh, okay. Bizarro world.

To sum up: 1. We do not know who did this. 2. We are being asked to believe the most illogical explanation, as a loyalty oath/litmus test. Not good. Not good at all.

@KMLR2012 Joe Rogan really did provide a remarkable clip on this subject either early today or yesterday. I recommend it.

I agree that we do not know who did this, that strictly speaking and as a bare possibility, any major actor could be responsible, including Russia, but one thing that is never wrong is logic. Follow the logic. Always start there.

@craigjames4258 They need the money from the pipeline for their war. They are under massive sanctions, which has stymied their weapons purchase, and they don't have to pay those billions in fines if they cannot access the funds because they have already been seized. What do you think contracts are? Magical devices that everyone performs? They are exactly the opposite. The moment one is signed, everyone looks for an advantage. A contract would neither prevent them nor induce them to sabotage the pipeline. They are making an entirely separate calculation. Being half-smart is twice as bad as not smart at all. Greenwald is making sense. Who did this? Only time will tell, let us hope. What Greenwald is presenting is logical based on what is known now. Follow the logic.
