  8. ​ @jnagarya519 The First Amendment does not prohibit political violence. It permits Congress to pass laws to prohibit political violence. To pass Fifth Amendment muster, those laws have to clearly define the crime. One law they tried to apply against the January 6th protesters was just ruled inapplicable to them by the Supreme Court. Justice Jackson agreed with that.
