@sarath_babu Who knew to be offended until they were told they ought to be? Some thought it was Dionysios. I would criticize that because the Olympic Games were a festival honoring Zeus. Dionysios was honored in different festivals, not the Olympics.

@manaash4316 You're right. I didn't think Dionysios was an Olympic god for some reason; according to some scholars, I think he might not be.

@manaash4316 I thought Walter F. Otto may have, but obviously I may be wrong. I don't remember why he chose to treat Dionysios separately. Is it clear from all the texts that Dionysios is a child of Zeus? Obviously, I could be wrong here.
