  1. All of the final pool from which they draw the students they will admit are eminently qualified. That's what this fight is really about -- there are far, far fewer seats than there are truly qualified applicants, of any race. Also, you might not be aware of this, but at Harvard, "blacks" are often children of African immigrants or are actually Africans themselves. Children of prominent Africans are often admitted to Harvard, another Ivy, or Oxford, or Cambridge. Congrats on your college career. That's a perfect strategy.
