I hope people understand the full gravity of what happened. Trump and the Deep State either have no regard for fundamental constitutional principles, in the former case and the latter, or are actively engaged in undermining the Constitution and what's left of democracy, to some degree in the former case and much more in the latter. Trump was a threat, the Deep State upped the ante massively.

@mjcard We know that about Hillary. The point was that Pompeo considered some way to assassinate Assange as well, as a possible option. This surprises some people. I don't see why. I'd be surprised if every "option" were not discussed, including dropping the extradition demand as a propaganda coup, or to make it look like it was quid pro quo to benefit Trump, and Assange just handed over some valuable secrets to gain freedom. (If people believed it, he'd be discredited forever.) These people are all power mad. They never limit themselves. They'll consider anything.
