In a society with a horrifying history of eugenics, someone thinks we shouldn't question whether a prepubescent child, or any minor, ought to be offered sexual reassignment, which usually renders them unable to have children. I think everyone should have the same opportunity to become a birth parent, trans or not. I believe in preserving reproductive rights. Deciding whether or not to have birth children is something adults have the right to do. Any treatment that could take this freedom away from a child could only be a last resort, after everything else has been tried, and has clearly failed. Of course I've been denounced for this view.

@matthall2425 People who suffer from feeling distraught over their bodies and their young love lives have said they felt pressured to define themselves as trans, rather than to allow themselves the time and space to explore their identities without anyone mucking with them. I don't know how large the problem is. It may be relatively small. Whenever it ends up with anyone on powerful medications, we should take notice. I thought we had learned that part.

I most admire Glenn for his valiant effort at keeping a straight face during the intro. As soon as you get some distance on this, you see the absurdity.

Pisces is considered the sign of the nonbinary, the sign of maximum fluidity and unending metamorphosis. They say the last sign contains some of the essence of all the preceding signs. So maybe this is the last gasp of the nonbinary, its swansong. In New Age logic, anything can be "true."

Ha ha ha, good one.

@katiejohnson2600 The insurance companies, whose material interest is either in taking money from the healthy or in having the sick die quickly, are your friend! Besides, I bet their boards of directors need your vote, too.

@meegz149 You follow 4chan? I've yet to see it. Tell me more.

Actually, by people who cite Frankfort School and never read Frankfort School. This was just discussed on Katie Halper's show, coincidentally.

I'm not at all surprised that Glenn raised these questions. He has lived in Brazil for years now. Today, it is much more accepted to speak frankly about sexuality and social psychology in an intellectual way in any Latin culture than in the US. Not only that, but Anglo-Americans are far more susceptible to peer pressure than people in pretty much any other major society. See David Riesman et al., "The Lonely Crowd." It's about 70 years old. In other words, this isn't new.
