  1. This is my pandemic experience. I never had this problem before 2020. I had had a lot of serious blows before 2020, and had every reason to believe 2020 would be the best year of my life. December 2019 and January 2020 were so promising. And then . . . I envy anyone who lived 1929-2019. What luck.
