  6. Now that it is crystal clear that the mother in Florida was merely rude, and not threatening anyone, why doesn't BCBS ask that charges be dropped? Not only do they corrupt the politicians, they also waste our tax dollars -- on this. I cannot blame them for wanting the police to investigate, but now that it's obvious that she did not make a true threat under the First Amendment exception, why are they pressing it?? On our dime, as usual.

  7. ​@DR_1_1 There should be a very basic floor for food and housing. But talking about health care with for-profit parasites feeding off of something that does not have an elastic demand curve, and that is literally a matter of life and death, with victims confronted exactly when they can do nothing about it, is uniquely sinister. Most people who need food or housing have some choices in obtaining those. They are not helpless. How about a person who has a heart attack? Or is hit by a drunk driver? Or who has a surprise allergic reaction to a medication? You act like they're to blame.
