This was his "punishment" for defending Aaron Mate, for which he deserves praise.

It is not hard to fire anyone who is without contractual protection. The fact that Ana was above Dore and could have had him fired is one more factor that makes this NOT be a Title VII case. You have every right to dislike someone. That doesn't mean different laws should apply to them. Stop the hysteria.

Crass jokes are unacceptable in the workplace, and Ana could have had him formally repremanded or fired. But they don't amount to sexual harassment under the law. She could not bring a suit.
