I think Lex is the best, and when I found him slipping, it cured me of watching too many podcasts, a bad habit I developed during this pandemic. If I could see through him, and I know no one else is better, then this stuff is not worth so much of my time.

Jobs emotionally abused his daughter his whole life, and stole from all of friends. Not ordinary "jerk" stuff.

Little Monk Besides, if a self-driving car kills someone, that human unit probably needed to be retired. /s

Ryan Wiley True of Biden, true of Trump, true of everyone on the Federal Reserve Board . . . Probably true of everyone the SEC has investigated or reprimanded.

@johnarnold893 Of course. There is nothing to those stories of market manipulation, defamation, ridiculous government subsidies, defective products that have killed people, or that Tesla's profitability (after years in the red) comes from selling emissions credits, not cars. Of course people are jealous of money. Erotic love is dead. If you made money on his stock, absolutely praise him. The story behind a stock matters, so by all means protect it.

@johnarnold893 Where do you see people hating him? An ironic laugh, sure.

@johnarnold893 This series cured me of watching too much YouTube. I think Lex is the best, and when I found him slipping -- especially here -- it cured me of watching too many podcasts, a bad habit I developed during this pandemic. If I could see through him, and I know no one else is better, then this stuff is not worth my time. I'm thrilled, frankly.

@johnarnold893 Still looks great, no botox.

@johnarnold893 You have a limited repertoire. But Musk is actually making useful things, a huge advantage over, say, Facebook, and all the other corporations whose main product is propaganda -- or surveillance. That much must be acknowledged. If you have a need for heroes, you could do worse.

@johnarnold893 You can read the business pages for yourself, or SEC press releases, or court cases. You understand mathematics, no? Or do you accept things on authority?

@johnarnold893 It life one vast personality cult for you?

@johnarnold893 I cite facts, you go full ad hom. In America, that apparently works. That's why we have the mess we do. I don't bother with hate. Emotion has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Hate seems to be on YOUR mind a lot, though. Ad hominem + DARVO? Isn't that getting old for you? Still has legs?

@johnarnold893 BTW, ask Joshua Brown about results. Just kidding, you can't.

The part about hard work is interesting, but the conversation takes an odd turn. Musk has five children with his ex-wife and one with his new wife, to whom he didn't give a real name. It's much too soon to say he's a good father, and it's biased to suggest divorced dads aren't great dads. They might be. How about we don't know? That sounds right. Hagiography is not your friend.
