@kebayjones837 Not true. Goggins was deployed to Iraq with SEAL Team Five. He began running ultramarathons to raise money for the families of fallen SEALs.

@Not-hing89 Yes he did. See the explanation above. SEALs are tactical and special operations, and have a code of confidentiality concerning actual battles, for good reason. They can't just write a book without permission about actual deployments, and vetting of the story.

@Not-hing89 I'm sorry! Misunderstood because of the last line. Still a good answer/agreement, then. Goggins didn't want to write anything that required extensive review.

@edgarallanpoe8917 Goggins has said so in interviews. How else would I possibly arrive at that notion? As for accusations that he never saw combat, I note he was decorated many times. Interesting how you're entirely credulous where critics of Goggins are concerned, but you easily deny facts that are favorable to him. I wonder why. Also, not like it's hard to look it up! Give that a try.
