If someone falls asleep in a drive thru trying to obtain food, call an ambulance. You don't know why he won't wake up. He could be a diabetic, for all you know. Let the paramedics determine what the problem is. An impaired driver who got drunk and then drove should have his car impounded. If he does not resist being deprived of his car, why would you even think to use force against him, or interfere with his person in any way? That arrest is "the answer" is nonsense. Liberty is more precious than property. When you take the car and ticket him, everyone stays safe. What more needs to happen? Getting the car back will not be cheap.
