  2. Remember when the Libertad, a ship in the Argentine navy, was seized in Ghana by a HEDGE FUND? Argentina remembers. It has applied to join the BRICS. Wonder whether Ghana wants to, too? Ethiopia and Egypt, check.

  3. I used to think Klein was bought, but now I am persuaded that she means well. She doesn't know how detached and contemptuous she has become. I can't understand it, actually. A lot of strong people were brought down by the pandemic, and now we know we cannot count on them when times get truly tough. Chris is nothing like that. He's real.

Putin escalated a brutal war, which better diplomacy could still have avoided, and it doesn't matter to anyone but the alphabet-identity decadent West -- you still have Argentina, Ethiopia, Egypt, et al., clamoring to join the BRICS. People hate us more today than on September 10, 2001. 😢

  5. I think this is reversion to the mean. Those with property held the vote for themselves until they found a way to grant it to the rest of us while maintaining full de facto control of the reins of power. This is what they always do. The real vote mirrors a corporate election: not one man, one vote, but x shares, x votes. They don't even have to work particularly hard to hide it anymore.
