Flu vaccine is safe. The one significant problem was in 1976, and that was less of an issue than the ill effects from COVID vaccines have been.

  13.  @danaashton9297  We had record drug overdose deaths last year, during the worst of the pandemic. What will it take? What has to happen, to chasten people? I'm for vaccines, but anti-mandate, and anti-bullying. The safety record is not great, and other countries are stepping away from vaccinating the young, and many are ending two-dose protocols for younger people, especially teens, especially if they already had COVID. That's what CARING looks like! Caring, and a willingness to be flexible as new information emerges.

I follow peer-reviewed literature, a few major papers (NYTimes, Guardian, Haaretz) and foreign ministries of health in countries with better public health and public policy than the US. I have a doctoral-level degree and a master's in philosophy of science from a major European university. Reading Space From Zeno to Einstein this weekend. None of which means I couldn't be wrong. Far from it. It means I expect MY concerns to be addressed, and I know that I decide what to do with my body, not anyone else. The burden of persuasion is on whoever proposes any intervention, not on me to justify myself. No or maybe are the default answers, absent evidence to switch them to yes.

  16.  @jacobhafar538  These vaccines have little in common with polio vaccine. It's not wise to keep repeating mere talking points that are scientifically baseless. It weakens your case. It's obvious shaming, bullying, etc., rather than scientifically sound. Consult the National Geographic article on leaky vaccines from around 2017 or somethings like that. Others have read it.

The health care workers who risked their lives last year during the height of the pandemic and sacrificed their safety and peace of mind for us are now being kicked to the curb. They are learning what the 9/11 first responders learned, and the war on terror veterans learned. Never sacrifice for anyone, not here, not now. The Trumps and the Pelosis and the Hunter Bidens are laughing in your face. Anyone who traded stock last year rather than toiling in a hospital is vastly better off. No comparison. And if they managed to put together a few hundred grand, no way would you be jeering at them. You'd be all sheepish and chastened. One day another "emergency" will be declared, and no one will come to answer the call. Then it will be your turn to learn. Oh well!

My transgression is that instead of trading insults, as is the custom, I stated that I've done the heavy lifting that leads to having some knowledge to speak cogently about the topic at hand.   21.  @stigrynning  Mine have been taken down, while ad hominem and swearing are allowed to remain. Youtube personalities do not like replies that are more intelligent than their videos. Also, if you post a lot, they don't think, well, some people write fast, believe in the cause, etc. They think you must be a paid actor. I mean, they would never stand for something on principle, for free. (I'm done doing that as well. Not worth it. I have my healthcare.)

  24.  @stigrynning  I'm new to this. I only joined during the initial shutdown this year. I just know they are missing. I don't see a clear pattern, except with my own. I think posts with links may be more likely to be removed, because they are harder to monitor for TOS. That is the only possible pattern I've been able to see that seems to apply to everyone. Posts that are supportive of a nice post even get taken down. Strange times.

  25.  @stigrynning  When I had Yelp reviews taken down, I wrote and asked why. They told me that algorithms pick up posts that sound too polished, like an ad agency wrote them. That would explain good posts being removed and posts full of weird errors being allowed to stay. I've had posts disappear but never a warning about them, which I would expect if they fell under one of the Report categories for banned speech.

A bunch of my comments disappeared, including very uncontroversial stuff like compliments and "fun facts" about where my family is from, really mild. Then out of nowhere, someone I never saw before or since writes a comment addressed to me: "a lot of your posts are being taken down, huh?" Never got an email warning or anything of the sort. Funny, huh?

You can consult peer-reviewed journals, you can see what ministries of health in countries with better public health and vastly better life expectancy are doing. There are a lot of reliable sources, and new information is coming to light all the time. Or, you can repeat idiotic slogans so old they have dinosaur feces stuck to them, and you can bully, insult, posture, and use words like "fart." Haven't heard that one in a while.

In France, parents were rallying to make sure teachers with HIV got to keep their jobs, tenured or not! No wonder France has a much higher life expectancy. In France, the CGT (hard left labor union) just organized a demonstration of vaccinated health care workers in support of their unvaccinated colleagues and against mandates. I think they now see how foolish they were. Sacrificing yourself for others is always a fool's game in this sorry culture. All the comments about the video reportage are congratulating the demonstrators for their humanity. Wonder why the French have a much longer life expectancy, that barely budged in 2020, while the US had record drug overdose deaths last year, and now a violent crime wave? Here's a clue: What you're doing isn't working. If you still have no inkling, don't worry. Life will teach you, all too soon.

Nobody with a healthy mind. There is a narcissistic--low self-esteem axis that is common in America now, as real opportunities are diminishing for most people. It's causing them to be more crazed than they ever were. Plus they can't seem to win a war. All of that weighs on them. They Care About Other People. Afghan Women, etc. They are always making wild stuff up to boost their sagging sense of self.
