  1.  @Sun222Air  It's the demand that those in pain must deny their feelings. Often it is accompanied by a threat: if you are "negative," bad things will happen to you. Chances are, you are not doing that, or else someone would have told you by now.

  6. "Positivity" has nothing to do with a beneficial psychological state. It is an advertising strategy, and a threat: you won't be marketable if you don't adopt this phony image. If someone makes you do this, they aren't your friend. But they might be your employer. Feel free to be phony if you want and if that's easier. You have a right to protect yourself and your income.

  7. These are sadists. More and more of them around these days. Don't feel bad about being phony to protect yourself if necessary. That's your right. Consider taking an acting class, try to make it fun.
