Diagnosis is unethical. Expert opinion based on records evaluation is done all the time. His point about that's how insurance companies deny care is true. It is. It's the loophole. $$$

Depp has a RIGHT to refuse to be evaluated, by anybody, and certainly not by this guy. What this doctor is doing is drawing out the logical consequences of people having that right.

@janwilson3898 He makes sense for sure: Depp has a right to decline to be evaluated by this guy, or by anybody, especially anybody associated with Heard, and Depp did the right thing by having nothing to do with him. The logical consequence of the lawyer's point is that no expert witness can ever testify to anything in a person who refuses to see them.

@lazyam1523 He didn't say that at all. Of course the system permits expert evaluation based on medical records. That is how insurance companies deny coverage all the time. 💰💰💰

@lazyam1523 Exactly, Depp has a right to refuse to talk to this guy, short of a court order.

Depp has a RIGHT to refuse to be examined by anyone. Do you follow?

@ernestshackleton6965 what guy?

@ernestshackleton6965 Oh, I see what you said. Yeah, but calling someone online a narcissist isn't a diagnosis, it's trash talk.

@ernestshackleton6965 Did you see what happened? This exchange highlighted the fact that Depp refused to see any of Heard's experts in person. I'm surprised that came out. It's like the Fifth Amendment, you're not supposed to call attention to it (unless the person on the stand invokes it himself). His right to keep away from her shrink is his right. Period.

@ernestshackleton6965 I get it.
