@glitteryroses A billionaire can't get a script anytime he wants? 🤣 It's a formality.

@eunicemwicigi8104 It's mind-boggling to believe that if he takes it, it must be beneficial.

I'm so sorry.

@knvsy First, the report focused primarily on illicit drugs and self-prescribed medication. Second, a CEO or other very affluent person can get any prescription he wants.
1
@knvsy Of course not. That doesn't mean the rest of us need to be naive as to how they got their prescriptions. You weren't confused in the cases of Elvis, Michael Jackson, Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, and countless others. Why are you pretending not to understand? Why are you trying to twist my words?

@knvsy Hope you're allowed to see my reply.

@knvsy My only point is never to take these people as an example for our own health. The fact that Famous Person A or Billionaire B has a doctor who prescribes for him tells us nothing about the wisdom of taking the drug. It could be good, bad, lethal, or useless. That Musk takes it under a doctor's supervision means nothing at all.

@knvsy Too bad my reply disap . . . .

Every psychoactive drug -- literally every -- has been proven to have serious side effects, either immediately in some, or over time in nearly all who take it. The brain is simply too complex for us to predict what may happen if we interfere with its processes. I exercise caution with DHA, magnesium, and B12 supplements, much less anything else, and look to food first for my nutrients. I wonder how many of these jaded money hoarders will have some form of dementia by age 60.

"Perfection?" Where? Boeing? Self-driving cars? ChatGPT? Vaccines? 🤣🤣🤣

@jameswatson5807 False. Using, say, painkillers to get high every other weekend is also drug abuse. Clearly, it is not addiction.

@achillesglacia7700 The DSM-V lists "substance abuse disorder" as a diagnostic category.
