  9. Concerning abortion, please get a clue: a TEN-YEAR-OLD girl was pregnant and her doctor feared perfoming a clearly medically necessary abortion, so they left the state to do it. The instinct of the right wing was to scream fake news. Well, not only was the story true, but the brave doctor got death threats for saving this little girl. This sent a shudder through nearly everyone.

  27. I have one concern about MMR vaccines: well conducted studies in Europe have shown that the current measles vaccine stand alone is very beneficial to children. If stand-alone is optimal, why the combination? I don't get that. Let's start life out right.

  31. The reason I didn't support a ban is because of that one child in 2.2 million who genuinely needs them --- and I believe in INDIVIDUAL medicine (which we did not have during vaccine mandates). But so many doctors have been so irresponsible. Maybe we have to criminalize one more thing.

Then we'll know, or at least we'll be vastly more likely to have a complete picture of what happened. Right now, we have legitimate questions. There is no reason to suspect anyone other than Kohlberger, and no reason to shut down reasonable questions.

  44. Two things: first, this is a very harsh, very competitive society, and it's hard to know how to build real character strength in a child, especially a teenage girl. Second, when people give parenting advice, whether it be to employ more gentleness or tougher discipline, it might not be well intentioned. They might want their kid to outdo yours. They are not interested in giving you good advice.
