You might consider a malpractice lawsuit to finance the medical care she will need to get better. Remember, it will be very hard but she WILL make it. Norman Doidge writes about some remarkable cases of recovery from various central nervous system issues, and his case studies are in no way typical, but I find it inspiring to know just how much IS possible. It's a lot of work. She will need to eat a pristine diet, designed for people with generalized inflammation and anxiety issues, and go for walks, and sleep properly. There are outstanding books on that, too -- eating to beat depression and anxiety, yoga for these issues, and so forth. This is going to be a big project and will take a long time. That's why I mention a lawsuit. We are talking serious costs. Best of luck for as short a recovery period as humanly possible. :)
