  7. The questions weren't simple or direct. They were designed to propagandize, and it was effective. I'm sure Stefanik's fundraising goals for 2024 will be easily met. It's a disgrace that those academics could not effectively explain and defend the First Amendment, or show concern for students who feel traumatized, for that matter.

  11. @georgemetesky5519  They did a terrible job. It's inexplicable. They should know First Amendment law, and how it applies to a private university, in their sleep. They should be passionate about free speech. And they should know that in general, civility and respect encourage free speech. And that at times, very upsetting words, uttered in a First Amendment forum (like during a demonstration on the quad, but not screamed in someone's face in a dining hall or dorm) are fully protected by the Constitution. How come I know? I bet you do, too. What gives??
