  4. I'm not sure what the death rate is, but disability from complications was not rare. We knew someone who became intellectually disabled due to complications. The stand-alone measles vaccine has been tested in Denmark, and it's one of the best ever devised. It seems to condition a child's overall immunity, not just to measles, when given at the right time and by itself. We should look into that.
