@ correspondence committee I'm sorry. I didn't know I was required to genuflect. Perhaps next time we could come up with a signal, comparable to the one for sarcasm? Y'know, something like "/g," . . . so that we don't get caught up in personalities? And to think I basically agreed with your comment to the original post.

@danny.b3 As a matter of fact, I speak three languages fluently, and find that I am always much happier when I function in the two that are not English. So much for needing "authority figures." You can't even tell me in which language to think, much less what.

@danny.b3 I was responding to your comment about Bundy, and in a subsequent post gave details about his astounding trajectory, to explain what I meant. What in the world did you think I meant? My response disappeared almost instantly. I guess I ruffled some feathers in quoting James Baldwin. Figures.

@danny.b3 Can you be serious? You attacked me for no reason. You completely misconstrued an innocuous comment, in reference to how far Ted Bundy got -- and it is not a rarity for psychpaths to fool people, for a long time, and to be remarkably successful at it. Bundy got into law school not once but twice, based on glowing recommendations from prominent people. Do we even know how many women he killed -- talking about "love," as needed, I might add!
