  1. Oppenheimer, while he attended Cambridge, attempted to murder, via poisoning, of another student. Oppenheimer was caught and confessed to the attempt. Oppenheimer's father, who was a man of wealth and means, got his son out of the problem. Another sign that sometimes with Geniuses, there is madness and Mal intent. I think President Harry Truman's meeting with Oppenheimer, his first and last one by the way, summed it all up in David McCullough's biography of Truman. Truman thought that Oppenheimer was a weakling of a man who was mentally unstable. I'll go with that assessment.
