@ do you ever feel comfortable going into a coffee shop or a place like that where you can plug into charge your battery packs? I have no idea how long it takes to charge one of those or if thatās even useful. I think you may have mentioned before that youāve done some of your editing in a coffee shop, but I may be pulling that out of the air⦠Except I think you have more solar now than youāre used to as well so that has probably helped more over the years. Hope youāre doing well

š iām glad you shared with your viewers how you were trying to get used to being in front of the camera. I bet that felt awkward for a really long time. Interestingly, you seem quite comfortable in front of the camera these days since you are often in places where youāre keeping your doors open Iām sure youāve got lots of people passing by that hear you chatting out here with us. Thanks for sharing your life with us well these little snippets anyway. Take care.

Ā @StaticCamperVanĀ t I suppose there are a variety of reasons for that. I cannot imagine, living my life and sharing parts of it on YouTube. So I suppose itās kind of like a job that anyone of us have experienced⦠Sometimes we just donāt want to go to the job. Sometimes we just donāt want to put ourselves out there. Sometimes we just want to be alone and be on our own time schedule. So yes, Iām sure you have lots of reasons of your own not to want to do it. But you do seem to be a bit more comfortable in these recent years. I suppose itās like everything once we do it more often. We just get better at it. as far as YouTube being a job⦠Yes, it becomes a routine and you have your viewers looking forward to seeing you and going on the adventure with you so then you have that level of commitment as well I would suppose. Just know we do appreciate you if that helps :-) š of course, I would think your viewers would also understand if you needed to take a break here and there. I am sure a lot of people think this is easy to be out here doing this, but I do also think that many of us understand that a lot of work goes into putting a video up⦠You are appreciated

This oneās tough. In my professional world I spent a lot of time dealing with email voicemail and we have parameters around it. It feels like life is consumed with this. In my personal world often I start my day with going through my personal emails and spend a half an hour to an hour just going through and deleting everything thatās insignificant, and if thereās something that looks urgent or something personal, it shows up that looks like it needs my attention quickly. I will respond at the time. Iāll send a little note if itās a more in depth need and let them know that I will be in touch with him a little bit later to complete whatever theyāre asking about. So then yes Again throughout the day, I will jump on and off. But I still canāt keep up with it all. If itās something personal, usually those people can also text message me and alert me that thereās something waiting for me from them and I can get to it quicker. The world of electronics⦠isnāt it great. I do have my email on my phone and it seems that I can get through that much quicker on my phone Than sitting at a computer constantly and since I always have my phone with me, Iām able to take a few minutes here and there throughout the day and respond to one or two emails or clear the stuff that needs to go into the trash or junk. The best case scenario for eliminating the issue with email is to literally just not provide your viewers with an email address⦠Bottom line⦠You go above and beyond to try to stay connected with your viewers and I think that is amazing. I think that is much appreciated by us as well but we donāt expect you to respond to every message that we write out here either. However, i think that when you take some time to respond on occasion I think it keeps your viewers connected and it shows that you care for and appreciate your viewers as much as we care for and appreciate you. My best to you always!š BTW: remember all of the time that we had to just be before the world of cell phones, text messaging and emails⦠I can tell you, sometimes Iād love to go back to those days⦠But I do also love how the technology has allowed us to connect in many ways that we never could have without it. Such as on this platform alone. Take care!

Ā @StaticCamperVanĀ it was the same for me. In fact, it was someone else who got me my first cell phone because they wanted to be able to get a hold of me⦠I find that interesting⦠in fact, they also wanted me to be able to call easily for my own safety. But I guess I did the same thing to my dad along with my siblings that is. And, yes, now I do not have it with or I forget it at home, I MUST run back and grab it. Otherwise I canāt possibly make it through my day. Thatās just crazy. And then, I embrace the times when Iām out in nature in places that you just donāt get reception, I had to work hard on letting go of that sense of urgency or that weird little feeling of oh what if something happens⦠I have to remind myself that we existed and survived before the cell phonesā¦. Hope youāre doing well!

šWhat? No Yellowbird? Hahaha⦠that meal looked really good though. I was surprised that you said you put your pasta in with your water right away. I wouldāve thought that that wouldāve been pasta turned to glue⦠But it didnāt look like it. I just may have to give that a try sometime.

š fear can really hold us back. But as you say, itās always good to have that healthy bit of fear. Yes, always following our instincts is the way to go. Itās that sixth sense when something just doesnāt seem right or feel right whatever that is we just need to go with it and follow it and remove ourselves from a potentially negative situation. I recall when preparing to move to a new city for a new job. I remember going down to the city to look at an apartment. The complex seemed fine and well kept. The unit I looked at seemed fine and well kept. My friend agreed she thought it was great as well as she was helping me look at different places. But I kept having this uncomfortable feeling that I couldnāt quite understand. But what it felt like was very uncomfortable kind of icky Unsafe. My friend did not get that same vibe so she thought I was a little nuts but she is my best friend so sheās allowed to think that :-) turns out when I was telling another friend who lived in the area about my visit to that complex and my thoughts about that unit , she shared with me that there had just a couple of weeks prior to that been a murder at that very complex. I donāt know if it was in that particular unit, but it was in the area and thatās what was setting me off. Canāt explain it just was a feeling I had and I went with that gut feeling of staying away. Good plan that I did because that area of town often has shootings , and around that complex seems to have a lot of negative activity. So yes, everybody follow your instincts. Most often they will be right.

š I am happy for you that you are living the life that you want to live. I thought it was interesting when you were talking about housing owning a home, renting a home, renting rooms from friends and also when you own a home how much money you were paying comparative to your income to own that home. You also mentioned something about being stuck that is so true and so many ways stuck financially, but also stuck with if you wanted to make a career change or do something different. Youāre always stuck with this piece of property that doesnāt always sell as quickly as you need it to or for the amount of money that you deserve from it. The life is very appealing to many of us because you can get up and go whenever you want. You can explore near and far and your home is where you land. So yay for you, Scott! Another thing I always chuckle when you say you are middle-aged and I think today you said youāre more than middle-aged. I always chuckle about this cause I have no idea anymore. What middle-aged even is people are living longer and longer than we ever have before wishing you to continue your journey with Health and joy!š
