I may be one of the weird peopleā€¦ I always drain my beans and rinse them off as well before adding them to anything that I makeā€¦ I hear that they help more if you have digestive issues that thatā€™s a good idea to doā€¦ Iā€™m not sure if itā€™s true or not Iā€™ve just always done that with my beans and other vegetables as well. Drain them and rinse them and then add them in and season them the way I want. It all looked great!
