Having lived in 2 of and visited all of these states, it's pretty obvious to me why many people would not want to live there. I wouldn't live anywhere that has winter -- it's really hard when you're cold-blooded and can't regulate your body temperature -- but I also wouldn't live in the Midwest for heaps of other reasons.

@jijitters Midwest summer is non-representative of summer: There are nice places where it's less humid, there are beautiful oceans, and the bugs are much tastier. But, then, those who think like you are doing the world a service by staying in -- and claiming to enjoy -- the Midwest.

@jijitters I mean, it's not like I have the choice to be warm-blooded 🤷‍♀️ Although wasting all that energy controlling body temp seems very very silly.
