  9. I usually run Arch (insert all the jokes here) but sometimes also Deb-based distros ... and I absolutely cannot imagine being so risk averse that I'd want to run a 12-year-old operating system. Even in prod / enterprise contexts.

  16. I'd recommend doing the inverse of what BlueSparkz said: Run GNU/Linux on the bare metal ... and then run the derpy Windows-only app in a VM.
