  4.  @FelifromGermany  Interesting ... (Within Europe,) I've lived in Malta, France, and Sweden ... and visited Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, the UK, and Ireland ... and always just paid with card. Cash seems ... impossibly dirty/gross and old-fashioned.

  6. I lived in an old house in SF -- which had separate loo and bathroom -- and I had light switches outside both the w.c. and the bathroom. Pretty sure it's just more common in Germany because, on average, houses are older.
