  1. The flickering screens, though ... Did no direct-capture cards exist!? It looks like someone pointed a camera at the monitor and didn't sync the frame rate to the refresh rate.

  2. Fun fact: DLLs are horrible. Anything involving 'dynamic' anything delays problems that could have been caught statically / at compile time ... until runtime: Why have devs solve probs that you can foist on end users!?
