  4. I had a laptop with a transflective display; it was FANTASTIC for use outdoors ... although, I'd actually prefer an e-ink laptop ... I don't care about nonsense use cases like gaming ... I just want a TTY that's readable in direct sunlight ... but, like you said, it's me + like 7 other nerds.

  6. Everyone I know replaces their phone every year or two not because anything's 'wrong'/broken with it ... but because of advances in cameras and other tech. Hardware longevity/decades of software updates are basically irrelevant?
