  1. I'm really glad you're doing this series ... I'm not very far in the journey yet, but I'm actively working to move my house to fully-electric ... with the exception of a gas hob in the kitchen. I care more about my cooking experience than reducing dino-burning in that one case.

  2. Wait, do normal people turn their computers off!? I get that I have more servers than average, but I thought it wasn't that weird to keep your computer running 24/7.

  3.  @boogersaregood  There are two things that I'm optimising for: 1. Communication. Can I see how much heat is being applied to each pan? 2. Precision. Can I directly/predictably/precisely control the first derivative of temperature? When I've used electric, neither of these is the case. I've been told that 2 is decently possible with induction, but that limits which pans you can use and provides no visual feedback regarding how much heat it's outputting to each pan.
