  1. I disagree. Think of how you would behave as the wife of the first black president - all the racism and the rush to delegitimize him and her both. With the right claiming that your husband isn't a citizen, with your life under a microscope far worse than any other first lady. With people claiming that you're not even a woman. No, I disagree; she has behaved with grace and courage, she is strong and genuinely cares. Please don't get swept up in an excess that causes you to not see the things that are good.

  2. He comes across as a lot "ass-holy." Why beat up on Michelle Obama? She gave a genuinely good speech. She's a genuinely good and decent person who has had her work cut out for her being the first lady of the first black president (yes, I know, half - the point stands). She's walked that tightrope with skill and class.
