@aragusea There's no need for the snark. The ads were over done in this video. It was indeed excessive. No one begrudges you the advertising, it's when it takes up a third of the video that people start to comment on it. Serious Eats recommends doing roast potatoes this way.

@marsen7350 Why would you respond to a year old video without context? Since I don't know what you're responding to I'll assume it is the advertising. There was too much advertiser content in this video. That is my perspective but he can do whatever he wants. It is my choice to watch or not and I made that choice. I unsubscribed and haven't watched any of his videos since. It isn't so much the advertising as the paragraphs in response to anyone saying anything slightly critical. It's important to be able to take criticism with a grain of salt and also with some grace. If you are deriving your income from YouTube, it is probably a good idea to be able to take the views of your subscribers into account when making decisions. And at the least, not to become defensive when suggestions are made.
