  1. Don't be an a jerk. Why are you watching animal videos if you don't feel that kind of affection? It's a little bit silly but animals can evoke the same kind of warmth and protective feelings similar to a guardian or parent. It might be a little over the top but there's no need to be nasty about it.

  2. My cat is also 16. My bed isn't that high, about 29 inches but he is starting to struggle with it. He'll stand on the floor and cry until I pick him up and that always makes me feel sad. Also, it wakes me up in the night. Ibought a big ramp set it on the side of the bed and he walked up and down at once and then refused to use it. Then I got some soft padded stairs that I put at the foot of the bed, I saw him sitting on the second stair the other day and I coaxed him up to the bed. We'll see If he keeps using them, but for anyone in a similar situation try different things if the first thing doesn't work, try something different.

  3. I haven't downloaded it but neither would I upvote it. These folks put clothing on their pets, treat them as though they are something for fun and decoration. The kitten did not enjoy being licked by a huge dog while humans cooed about how cute it was. I'm not a fan of this kind of video where it's more about the humans pointing out how cute their animals are and look at all the things they can do than it is about the animals themselves.
