Serious question, why do you do this? You post something that you know is incorrect in order to get a rise out of people? You've insulted people, you've been rude, I don't understand the point. What do you get out of it, is it a rush of some kind? I genuinely don't understand. You're wrong on the facts, but I don't think that's what motivates you.

@JoeyBlogs007 I'm not surprised you would choose to be rude to me also. Please don't respond further, you are muted. On a more serious note, think about why you do this. What you get out of it? What do you get out of being rude to people online? Is it a momentary thrill? I don't understand the impulse.

I think you would call James an expert, not an aficionado. There's a tone the host employs that seems to be oddly condescending. I am not familiar enough with him to know if it's intentional but it is distinct.

Thank you for saying this. Every time he referred to espresso with an X in it I cringed a little. I also didn't like the way they talked to James. James Hoffman is an expert, he isn't an aficionado. The cutsiness and condescension were difficult to listen to.

@anneegan4251 what would you say it was then? There were several instances of him condescending and minimizing what James does. Calling him an aficionado instead of an expert was one of them. The way he talked in general was difficult to listen to, if he is a regular on this channel I'm not going to be.

@ianallardyce4222 I found the guy hosting, the moderator, to be condescending. I don't know if it's because I have not seen him before but he kept making these little digs at James. It wasn't only the aficionado comment, he treated James as though he were some kind of cutesy fan of coffee rather than a professional who has spent years gaining his expertise. I know James Hoffman doesn't need me to defend him, but I had that impulse.
