@GerFinden-m5k when did 10% of the population speak for the other 90%? There was millions of people living in the donbass and crimea……. Yet the votes on independence are incredibly small…….. that’s not the way independence is supposed to work, you need the majority of people to vote and that will never happen. Crimean’s don’t see themselves as Russian or Ukrainian, they see themselves as Crimeans, and have never complained about being under Ukrainian rule either, if they wanted to be Russian they would have applied for a Russian passport (which was their right) and none of them ever did.
