Awb has committed to a sliding tackle, missed the ball and caught Elliot. To even try to compare said incidents is absolutely ludicrous. There isn’t even a tackle on saka, the keeper stays on his feet and defends his space. Elliot doesn’t change direction or initiate contact, saka does both 🤷‍♂️

Same thing happened??? Bayern’s goal keeper doesn’t slide tackle first of all, he doesn’t do anything but defend his space on his feet. Maybe the cl refs have watched varsenal dive all season, like us prem fans eh.

Why would Elliot do such a thing? Does awb go sliding into a tackle and completely miss the ball? The answer is yes, does he catch Elliot? The answer is yes. Does Elliot change direction or initiate contact, the answer is no. Varsenal fans are remedial.

@scotty90 what heights??? Liverpool won three champions leagues and loads of titles in a decade of football ffs. Varsenal’s best era is a couple of league titles in 20 years looooooooool.

@scotty90 let’s also remember that you actually had to win your league to qualify for the old European Cup……🤯. To put it into perspective, pep would need two doubles (prem and cl x2) just to match.

@scotty90 who mentioned prem like? Division one is the prem, the exact same teams who played in division one, are the exact same teams to play in the first prem season, other than relegated and promoted teams. Does changing the name of something make it better?
