In your curriculum you have learned NOTHING of the principles of research Science. I have degrees in Physics and Biophysics. I learned HOW the truth is gleaned. You learned methods in application development, NOT research. It USED to be that Science didn't work on peer-reviewed consensus, and we found that in those days of the Wild Wild West of premodern Science, that we were getting NO progress when every PhD was his own king and he could publish just any prejudiced opinion on an issue and stay respected!! Science was an opinionated junk pile, almost totally unusable!! So after hundreds of embarrassments that made the public doubt the value of Science and scientists altogether, we instituted peer-review and consensus. Medicine did the same, instead of each MD being their own king, able to use any method they thought up, regardless of proven efficacy, peer-reviewed journals and Standard of Care rules were implemented through medical societies and courts of law and medical insurance and state licensing, and BY GOD, PEOPLE STOPPED DYING AS MUCH!! Climate Science that lead us to legitimate worry over climate is NOT based on fucking computer models!!! This is a public pop notion that has been proliferated by climate deniers paid for by big oil and the coal industry!! Our worry over global warming has come from past records of temperature collected by thousands of scientists worldwide!! That and solar output measurements, and the ice core studies, have proved that CO2 down through the long history of this planet has been the chief controlling variable for earth's temperature, since we found the solar output increases only VERY slowly over DEEP time as it consumes its fuel. This is now settled solar physics and geophysics from the time of Svante Arrhenius in the 19th century. It has been RE-viewed an RE-proven MANY times since. The calculation can be done on a fucking napkin and it successfully predicts ALL past warming and cooling of the earth when blended with Milankovich orbital cycles of the ice ages. Your "computer model" bullshit is ONLY used to try to predict FAR results of this warming so we have some idea of how long it will be before OUR DEMISE!!! You see, we do not need to save the earth, rather the earth will kill US off and then take a few thousand years to recover its homeostasis and then toddle off toward its next ice age in 25 to 30 thousand years. Our industrial fossil phase and death will be a mere hiccup in this short little time period! Yes, obviously you DO need additional coursework because you don't even understand what I have told you here and corrected you about. You're another CLOWN who learned a little engineering, imagine you're a scientist, but have compartmentalized your knowledge and opinions well separate and due to your reading the wrong bumper sticker garbage, and your emotional, right-wing political, and religious delusions, have decided to dispense with actual peer-reviewed consensus Science and go for your stupid uninformed uneducated opinions!! You won't even ask a real climate scientist to explain anything to you, you're going to stick with uneducated webshites and vloggers with similar political stupidities.

We've had climate scientists for well over a century, and they were responsible for the excellent state of weather prediction, understanding the climate of the deep past, and predicting future trends. We would need them every bit as much without global warming. These folks occupy endowed chairs at all the major universities. They make the same money no matter what they discover. Climate change is just another pain in the ass for them, to have to conference about it, and give talks, and travel all the time, they would rather stay home and do research on what comes in from the field from lesser degreed folks. -- Rush Limbaugh motivated to tell the truth?
